The running group has been active (I almost said running there!) for several weeks now. Every Sunday morning and, in summer, on Wednesday evenings a group of local folk gather in the village hall car park and proceed to run, trot or walk around the local lanes. Our motivation is as varied as our routes and pace – fitness, fresh air, good company, challenge or even a mix of all of these.
We start with a gentle warm-up at about 9:50 am and then set off at 10:00 am on Sunday mornings and set off at 6:30pm on Wednesday evenings.
Runners vary from one person preparing for the 2019 London Marathon to others looking to stay on track to work through the brilliant “Couch to 5K” programme. No special kit is required as long as you are comfortable and there is no charge to run with us. Why not come along and give it a go?
