“Avon and Somerset’s Police and Crime Commissioner (PCC), Sue Mountstevens, is backing a campaign to put a smile on the face of young victims of crime this Christmas – and is urging others to do the same”.
The Dear Santa appeal, by children’s charity Embrace Child Victims of Crime (CVOC), is funding Christmas gifts for children across the UK, including locally, who have been affected by serious crime.
Children, nominated by police officers and safeguarding professionals, can choose their own gift worth up to £50, which is then placed on a unique Amazon wish list for people to buy directly – 100% of the donation goes to the beneficiary. For more details follow the link below.
