Lockdown Arts and Crafts Exhibition
October 16 @ 10:00 am - October 17 @ 5:00 pm
An exciting exhibition of Arts and Crafts, produced by the wonderfully creative villagers of Stawell and Sutton Mallet during the lockdown, will take place over the weekend of 16/17 October. On Saturday 16th the exhibition will share the hall with the Hub Cafe and on Sunday 17th the exhibition will be open in the afternoon.
Look out for the flyer coming through your door soon which has more information and the names and telephone numbers of the organisers. Please phone one of the organisers, or email email@example.com, with details of your entry by 30 September. This will allow the team to plan ahead and allocate space. Please submit your entry (or entries) to an organiser by 12 October. As this event is a celebration of the creativity and resilience of our villagers over these challenging months so entries will only be accepted from people living in Stawell and Sutton Mallet
Although we will do our very best to look after your art or craft works, storage and exhibition will be at the owner’s risk. Work can also be brought along to the Village hall on the morning of 16th October by 9.20 a.m. by prior arrangement only.
All exhibits will need to be accompanied by a postcard, which could include such details as: title, name if wished, medium used, for sale and any other information, for use as part of the exhibition. All pictorial artwork can be mounted, but, if framed, would need to be accompanied by a display easel if possible.
Don’t keep your talents hidden. Show us yours and we’ll show you ours! You ain’t seen nothing yet, Grayson!
