Hiring the Hall
Stawell & Sutton Mallet Village Hall is the social hub of the village. It is a bright and spacious venue, located in the heart of the Polden Hills. The hall can be booked for private parties, events, classes and meetings.
The hall is a registered charity and is managed by a committee of unpaid volunteers. You can be assured of a high level of support and advice to help with your booking.
Availability and Hire Cost
The Hall is available on weekdays, weekends, evenings & public holidays.

Regular hall users and residents – £9.00 per hour
Private hire – Non-residents – £13.00 per hour
Special weekend rates available by negotiation for wedding receptions
Payment in full or 50% deposit required at time of booking. Any balance to be paid at least one calendar month before the date of event.
Deposits will, however, be refunded if the event is cancelled within 28 days of securing the original booking.

The bar stocks a comprehensive range of beers, wines, spirits and soft drinks as well as incidentals such as tea and coffee.
The kitchen is fully equipped with electric cooker, fridge, warmer, microwave, wall mounted water boiler and kettle. There are 100+ sets of crockery and cutlery available and included in hire.

There is an oil-fired central heating system supplying radiators throughout the building. Unlike some other halls, heating and lighting costs are included in the hire charge.
There is a large car parking area adjacent to the hall.
